Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport (BOM) Team, with Supsan among their sponsors, completed the 5th round of GT4 European Series. Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport Team never gave up despite the challenges they encountered, and they scored important points in the races that took place from 21-22 September at the Monza Circuit in Italy - a highly important circuit in the world of motorsport.
On the first day of the race which took place on Saturday, 21st of September, the duo Yağız Gedik and Pedro Ebrahim who competed in car no. 11 unfortunately could not continue due to their car making a contact in the first cornering. The duo Berkay Besler and Gabriele Piana who competed in car no. 12, on the other hand, managed to finish in seventh place in the race they started in 22nd place.
On the second day of the race which took place on Sunday, 22nd of September, Yağız Gedik and Pedro Ebrahim finished in 14th place in the race they started in 16th place despite the misfortune they experienced on the first day. Berkay Besler and Gabriele Piana, on the other hand, scored important points by finishing in fourth place in the race they started in 19th place.
By the end of the fifth round of the series, Yağız Gedik and Pedro Ebrahim ranked 13th in the Silver Category for pilots while Berkay Besler and Gabriele Piana rose one place in the rankings and took third place. Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport Team also took third place in the Team Category.
The sixth and final round of GT4 European Series will take place at the Jeddah Circuit in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from 29 – 30 November.
